Temple Emanuel Caring Community - Doing Mitzvot to Improve the Lives of Others

The Caring Community at Temple Emanuel works to improve the lives of those in need.  Whether the need is temporary or long term, this group, under the capable leadership of Rabbi Geri Newburge and Sheila Stern, strive to ease the burden on individuals and families experiencing a hard time.

Contact Alex Grumbacher if you have a need we can assist you with or to volunteer as to assist the Caring Community.  Volunteers support those in need by driving them to doctor appointments, Temple Emanuel events, the bank, post office and the supermarket.

Volunteers also cook and deliver chicken soup to brighten someone's day.
