Memorials and Plaques
Memorial Plaques are a wonderful way to provide a permanent remembrance in Temple Emanuel’s Memorial Chapel for your loved one. Plaques are moved on the yahrzeit week, to a place of prominence in the Memorial Chapel. Names inscribed in the Memorial Chapel receive perpetual yahrzeits.
Temple Emanuel’s Tree of Life recognizes simchas (happy occasions) in the lives of our congregational family. Leaves and rocks can be inscribed, paying tribute to happy family and life events.
The Tzedakah Tree helps to support Tikkun Olam (Healing the World) efforts of Temple Emanuel. Leaves and butterflies can be personalized to honor loved ones.
For more information on memorial plaques, the Tree of Life and the Tzedakah Tree, contact Holly Friedman at [email protected] or (856) 489-0029 x 118.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteerism is at the heart of all that we do. Our committees, our task forces, our events are all managed by caring and capable volunteers who give their time, their talent and their commitment to make Temple Emanuel the best it can be to our synagogue.
No matter what your skill set or available time, there is a volunteer opportunity waiting for you. Contact Marc Rothstein and he will help guide you to a volunteer opportunity to meet your needs.
We look forward to seeing you often at Temple Emanuel.

Family Education
Family Education at Temple Emanuel
The goal of Families B’Yachad is to bridge the gap between synagogue and home and to help make Judaism a more meaningful part of family life. Programs within Families B’Yachad are designed for every age group and family structure.
Family B’Yachad sponsors parenting programs in the Pre-School and family education days in the Religious School. Families B’Yachad will sponsor a number of family education events, open to the whole congregation, over the year.
We look forward to learning and growing with your family.
