WHAT IS EMUNAH?
Emunah is an opportunity for Temple Emanuel to celebrate our past, rejoice in our present, and prepare for our future. The Hebrew word emunah means “faith.” Our Temple leaders have embarked on the Emunah Initiative as an expression of our collective commitment to ensure that we, in our own time, hand over Temple Emanuel to our children and grandchildren with the same love, devotion and faith that our parents and grandparents did for all of us. We need you to help build and develop a strong future based on the successful achievement of three fundamental goals.

CASE FOR GIVING
Our Vision for Phase 1

The Temple Emanuel Men’s Club is much more than a social organization. We promote fellowship through various social, educational, religious, recreational and community service activities. We are committed to working together with the entire congregation and clergy to benefit the community, our synagogue, and ourselves as individuals. The Temple Emanuel Men’s Club meets throughout the year. These meetings provide an informative and entertaining forum to discuss a myriad of men’s issues. Speakers have covered topics relating to men’s health, financial issues and estate planning, higher education, Israeli experts and diplomats, an annual Men’s Seder, sports topics and trivia, art and cultural programs and many other topics of interest. We also participate in JAG, the Jewish Athletic Group, which allows our Men’s Club to compete against area synagogues’ Men’s Clubs in a host of athletic activities.
